Breathe life

Taking a breath seems so easy
I fill my longs trough nose or mouth
the air does not reach my midriff
and sometimes I do not even know

So busy doing my daily things
with all duties life demands
my head filled with unimportant details
I need to do more valuable tasks

Keep me off doing were I am good at
and drag me in their empty needs
in a useless fabricated economic system
at least so it seems to me

with no way to escape from the pressure
from society with his rules and laws
I have to do what they ask from me
so I can pay the monthly bills

Survival is the result of the fighting
I just keep on reminding myself
there is no need to doubt my being
and that I have a right to breathe life

But when you add to that a literate tongue or pen than you have something very special. - Nelson Mandela - ******************************** I am from the land of tulips and mills. Writing is a need like eating and sleeping. I think we are all wondrous creatures who deserve to love ourselves and live in freedom. I like to participate in cases which can make a difference for myself, my surroundings and the earth. My wish: humanity in a non-dualistic society. more…
