Come What May . . .
From the time I was little
I had you always by my side;
When I've got secrets and problems
I come to you and confide.
Now that I'm grown up
It's nothing but a fulfillment for you;
For a part of me has changed
But my love for you will not, it's true;
All these years, I know, I've always let you down,
I've caused you heartache and pain,
I was then expecting you to scold me
However, it's your love that I gained.
To my Parents, whom I love
Listen as I pray
To God, who is from up above
That He'd bless, guide and protect you day after day.
Though I've come to the end
There's so much more I'd like to say
And all these things have only one denominator,
It's that I love you both, come what may. . . .
