once I lived a short death
twice I almost died
three times I fell in love
an infinite number I cried

yesterday was a timed event
today is time given
tomorrow waits impatiently
for someone too well-driven

there lies the eternal query
or faith into thy wonder
if I stumble into the light
dreams shall not fall asunder
