I thought of you
( thank you so much for deciding to read it, it was a poem purely written. Spontenously, which i later discovered much more emotional then i had planned would love feedback thanks!)
Upon awakening from a slight breeze,
Crossing into my sheets, thru a slightly opened window
, I thought of you,
And as i slumbered into the hard wooden floor,
And drifted into my clothes..
I thought of you
Following the same routine i mindlessly obeyed as i drove to work,
The melancholy wind kissed me,
Clouds formed breasts caressed by rivers, and valleys.
i thought of you.
A walk in the park would prove your presence yet,
As roses formed your lips,
That i had so long ago..
Forgotten.. I thought
Each step a heavy reminiscence of a memory,
Not so indifferent from today.
Innocence played on swing sets,
And slides .. As we once did,
Teasing the limits of our innocence,
And desire,
Conveying a message of reality,
I thought of you...
Tranquil was the river,
As heaven poured itself upon it,
Blurring the image of a pathetic reflection,
Resembling us,
Twas similar night..
Was it not?!
If memory does not fail,
When we first kissed..
I thought of you..
Alone i laid in bed..
Your warmth still on my arm,
Your scent a pondering torture,
Your heartbeat..
On my breast..
Under the vigilant darkness.
I thought of you ,
The canopy of sanctuary formed by your angel's hair,
As you blessed me with our first kiss,
Pondering our lips upon our skin,
Searching..
Under the canopy of your smile,
I smiled.
You laughed,
I laughed,
You cried,
I cried.
You left..
I stayed behind..
Tears filled of memories,
That i now know i will not forget..
Scars left open to be ridiculed!
I thought of you..
Yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
