Where Has This World Gone

Where Has This World Gone
(May 23 2018)
Why can’t the crying stop
Why won’t the pain go away
Why won’t the memories come back
Why do we fade away
Why do killings happen
Why do the tears hide away
Why does life go on and on
Why can’t we start over again
Where has this world gone
It hides in dark and shame
Where has this world gone
It won’t let any light in
Where has this world gone
It’s buried in its pain
Where has this world gone
That we live on today
Why do people drink and drive
Why do people commit suicide
Why do we enjoy others pain
Why do we kill for blood
Why do we do abortions
Why does cancer exist
Why are there split religions
Why do guns go off
Where has this world gone
It’s trying to find a way out
Where has this world gone
It’s slowly fading away
Where has this world gone
It’s seeking for some love
Where has this world gone
That we live on today
Why are we not perfect anymore
Why do we not care anymore
Why do we runaway every time
Why do we cause drama everyday
Why are we not family anymore
Why do we not try anymore
Why do we have war everyday
Why do live here on earth
Where has this world gone
As we do not seem to care
Where has this world gone
As wars sprout up again
Where has this world gone
Everyone is for themselves
Where has this world gone
That we live on today
No human is perfect
No heart has been healed
No life has no sin
No planet is perfect
We are called humans
We are what created this world
That we are forced to live on
Where has this world gone
That we live on today
