I'm 31 years of age. I started writing poetry at the age of 6. I submitted a poem to poetry.com when I was 10 and they wanted to publish it. Sadly my parents couldn't afford it at the time. I've written poetry because that's my form of expression. I'm able to communicate my feelings and make sense of the things I want to convey. I grew up with a herendous stutter and poetry was at one time my only friend. Thank god I don't stutter any longer . I wish to write for hallmark one day and with God's blessing may he open that door. God bless everyone who reads my work. Thank you
