Poems »

I am in my late forties and a native Texas citizen, with two amazing young adult sons. One serves in the US Navy and the other plans on joining the Air-Force. I enjoy writing short stories, full feature screenplays, tv character bibles, tv back pilots, and of course poetry. Furthermore, I work on and off as an IT recruiter, Business Development executive, and career coach. The Indian Paintbrush, Bluebonnets, caverns, hiking trails, lakes, and granite rock quarries are worth the trip. (Quite a sight to see) Similar to Australia but missing the Kangaroos of course. I will say when it comes to Texas politics and the wild west the mentality is a bit of a far reach for most. Many that reside here end up tolerating it because we have to. Whether you are pro-oil and gas or pro solar in the end we all have to get along and attempt to save our planet from overall destruction. In Texas we enjoy our evening sun sets, cactus blossoms, bougainvillea's, birds of paradise, crepe myrtles, Indian Paintbrush bluebonnets and of course shooting starts that light up the sky. I may live for another twenty, thirty years of die in two one never knows but the journey is what matters. Life is short so never forget that. ~~ God Bless- Texas
