Poems »

I am currently a student in 10 grade at Golden Jubilee Institute, New Delhi. I have personally rescued and treated 8 stray dogs suffering from parvovirus. Yet whenever I did these things, the joy I felt never could overcome the hurt I experienced when people made fun of and criticised us for caring. I'd never forget the way, a stray pup was beaten, merely for venturing into my neighbour's garden. Never will I forget his whines, they echo in my soul forever and become a reflection of what being human has become.
