Adventurous Souls

In the blink of an eye, they grow so fast,
From tiny hands to adventures vast.
Each day a new discovery, a step to climb,
As they blossom before us, in their own time.

Their laughter like music, their hearts pure and bold,
Each moment with...

Eternal Echoes

In the quiet of night,
Echoes of laughter fade,
A life cut short,
In shadows it laid.

Promises unspoken,
Dreams left undone,
Her absence a silence,
In a world overrun.

Each day a reminder,
Of what could have been,
A daughter's...

Dreadful Wait

These shadows cast by flickering light,
Anxiety's grip, relentless, tight.
A month of waiting and endless dread,

I wandered aimlessly, with no control....

I’m sorry unfortunately this is very much real. I wrote this the day my daughter passed away. There was a storm raging uncontrollably outside that night, so that’s where tempest came into play. That whole day I could barely catch my breath as if a stone of a thousand pounds lay
upon my chest. So yes was a real love in the moment event and that was the only way I could cast my feelings on that fateful day.

I replied earlier but my comment doesn’t show.
