Endless Sorrow
Sir Evergrace Longsword 1967 (California)
My brother spoke harshly to me, for cutting school that day, no one knew the words he spoke, would be the last that he would say
One minute I felt joy, my family was alive,
the next my heart beat too fast, not wanting to survive
Memories flashed in my mind, like a runaway train,
my emotions were overwhelmed, because of all the pain
I sit here and try to explain, how I felt at that time,
no words in the human language, would work on this rhyme
When my brother passed away, changed forever was my life, an ocean of tears I did cry, from tormented strife
No wife or kids or life at all, that day I did die,
constant prayer from that day forth, asking Jesus why
