Analysis of The Holy One of Israel says:
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
In changing your mind and rest is your salvation.
In quietness and trust is your strength.
Worry is like a train approaching a crossing.
It sounds its horn to let you know it’s coming through.
But as quickly as it comes it will be passing.
If you won’t move off the tracks its killing you.
Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes
That ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.
A branch must remain in the true vine,
If it wants to produce the desired fruit.
If it does not remain in the true vine,
Then it will be given over as loot.
Your first father sinned;
Those I sent to teach you rebelled against me.
