Analysis of Exhortation
Jaded Peace 1980 (Murfreesboro Tennessee)
7-3-2018 Seeing beyond the horizon. Never before has it been more reviving. The desire to aspire is great. It's like an evening shower never hit so unexpected but I knew right where it was directed. A hint, I think not, an exhortation of sorts. Do you think it's predestined? Not a good time for a procrastination. Whose fate is at stake? Whose heart will break if the decision comes too late? The lessons been taught you should see it crystal. Everything around you is brittle. Handle with care if you plan to persevere. Ambitions are tested, desires put aside for my progenies. There are no better rationalizations to strengthen the regulations on my former stipulations. When does it end or start to make sense? No longer oblivious. Does that make the decision more obvious? No one can surmise but in the end there can be no compromise!!!! Just don't lose sight of the prize and you'll never sacrifice your only purpose in life.

About this poem
This poem was written while in the midst of my being lost in the cold dark paths in which addiction takes so many souls. On the day this poem was written I was allowed to see my children for the first time after a year of being unable to contact them. It was truly an exhortation for me.
