Analysis of Righteously Reconciled
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
For while we were still weak,
At the right time Jesus died;
The ungodly that did seek,
The truth of the crucified.
One died for a good person,
Or someone that is righteous;
Rather for sins of anyone,
That had not been pretentious.
But God shows His love for us,
Although we were still sinners;
Justified by blood as thus,
Christ saved us to be winners.
We’re saved from the wrath of God,
And through Christ reconciled;
Life saved by cleansing where flawed,
Curing us where defiled.
We rejoice through our Lord,
And praising the triune God;
Atoned and in one accord,
While we honor and laud.
