Analysis of Saturday Morning Rain

Saturday Morning Rain

Serenity arrives in Saturday morning rain
Through the shadows of evening
The soft sounds of spring showers
Slowly dissipates the night before
My weary eyes open silently
Thoughts from sullen moments
Seem to dissolve and disappear
Fading as if they never mattered.

The gentle patter of cool water drops
Erase emotions emanating
From people and places
Without empathy or compassion
My yearning for acceptance
Finds comfort in the wet waves
Descending from Heaven as
Abundant affirmation my life matters.
