Analysis of With Me Always

You were with me before my birth
You loved me before my start
When I came into the world
You came with me in my heart

As I grew You stayed with me
Never leaving me alone
Though I went out into the world
You knew someday I'd come home

You waited for me so patiently
Jogging my memory occasionally
You knew I'd need You sometime
And that I would finally see

How funny You must have thought me
When I finally turned to see
What had been there all along
Patiently waiting for the return of me

So,Lord,I want to thank You
For never giving up on me
I will be forever grateful
You waited for me to see
