Good Morning

The night was fruitless; the boat was empty
His men were looking for more
Just as the day was breaking
Jesus stood upon the shore

The morning meal was cooking
On the grill he had prepared
No one ask him who he was
Because nobody dared

They all knew it was Jesus
Making breakfast on the beach
He made a little more for them
And then began to teach

It was not an ordinary lesson
This day he taught one on one
As Pete and him strolled on the beach
Under the rising sun

The tide was rolling in today
As I was resting on the shore
So, I had another cup of joe
And read a little more
