Way Up High in The Sky

A J C 1958 (Swansea, MA)

Way Up High

A man beats his dog every day. But that dog still loves him anyway. Is there any way a person can find a way to harvest that love that won't stray? Someone who doesn't have hate is never late, and they don't have lust or greed. Just someone for me. I really think it will never be; it wasn't meant for man to see. There is only one man, and you know his name; it's still the same. He has that kind of love, but he is way up high in the sky. You should not be surprised; he will be your guide.

About this poem

I truly believe a man cannot handle the love that a pet has.
