No one I remember
Jodi Kristen Bisio 1989 (Alberta)
The thought of being were I am now
a life I had to prove to my family somehow
a girl that dreamed of everything going right
till she found that evil rooting beside her that night
A future that was not yet painted
a young girls future yet so tainted
a love of herself that grew so strong
a life that was torn apart, and done so wrong
Throughout years in struggle, she carried herself
torture and anger, equaled a loss of mental health
an important soul, with already her plate soo full,
she settled, but was thrown a different roll
This girl that was once so strong and alive
became a mother, with hope and trying to survive
she did what any mother would have done
leaving the man, in hi eyes, already had won.
There has been so many mistakes, and bridges burned
In between the lines, she lied but she's learned
she tries to get everyone's attention, but has failed
she tries to explain, her answers so raw, and detailed
revolving doors, spinning forever without a halt
I blame me, no one else, my own worst enemy at fault
I was left without anyone hearing my side
the people that once loved me, shut me out and lied
The girl that was always quick to forgive
took a chance at boundaries and began to live
she struggled through her own demons still at night
but whatever will happen happens, forget who's right
