SOMEDAY TOMORROW WILL NOT COME

SOMEDAY TOMORROW WILL NOT COME

The service ends, you run out the door
Man you've heard it all before!
Why can't God just leave you be?
You just want to be free!
Yet you think as you drive away
Maybe you'll know Him someday
You know it's too late now, for some
Someday, tomorrow will not come

You see him read that dang Bible again
When will this phase ever end?
You know about the Cross and all of that
You're just not ready where you're at
But tomorrow's not far away
Maybe you'll know Him someday
You know it's too late now, for some
Someday tomorrow will not come

The man lunges at you, you turn to fight
A giant fist in your face turned out the light
Strangers Whisper as you awake
Saying your lucky your life he didn't take
He asks you if he can pray, what can you say?
Maybe you'll know Him someday
You know it's too late now, for some
Someday,  tomorrow will not come

You lost your job, your house is going soon
Your wife says the doctor's is at noon,
What if it's the big "C"?
Lord, how can this be?
You don't want to know Him this way
But you sure want to know Him someday
It's getting late you know, that for some
Tomorrow just did not come

You're on a bed as your kids  all come in
"Dad," your son says, "I don't know where to begin"
He hands you a Bible with tears in his eyes
In trembling hands you open it,as your family cries
"God," you start, "I'm gonna meet You today
This is the end, my great someday
Thank you for saving me, even when I was dumb
This is my last tomorrow, Lord Home I want to come"

He lies still, a smile on his face
Like he saw a glimpse of God's Grace
You know he's beyond all pain as the service begin
But is there anything to this Salvation from sin?
On your knees you turn to God and pray
Lord I  want know you now, today
Today bring me into Your Kingdom
'Cause someday,  tomorrow will not come
AMEN
