THROUGH FAITH ALONE

THROUGH FAITH ALONE

Never be afraid to stand for what's right
Fear not the echoes that abound in the night
You're redeemed by the very Blood of God
Grace sustains you, Faith overwhelms the odds

Fear not, Faith reigns under the Cross
Grace returns what you thought was lost
Stand strong in Truth, righteousness robe
In Jesus righteousness are we eternally clothed

Let the Devil roar like a mighty Lion
He's defeated, his power is dying
He struck the heel, Jesus crushed the head
Now you are free, redeemed from the dead

Don't be a slave, bound in sins chains
Be a Child of God, through Grace we gain
The slave lives in fear of his master's hand
The Child stands in love, in the Father's land

So though we are in the world, it is not us
Grace and Faith made new in Jesus
Stand boldly before God's  Throne
In the power of Grace, through Faith alone
AMEN

About this poem

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2 8-9
