nights silience

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

Where does my mind go as I slip out of my body to watch myself sleep, only to dream of a new day? Everything stands still, and I can hear my thoughts of nothingness inside the night's silence.

I want to dance inside of the moon's light. I want to be free enough to get lost in the night silence that may come. I want to see my body shed its shell. Oh, how I want to become undone and watch this soul of mine dance next to the flame of the fire that fuels my love and desire

The canvas is blank, so I light a candle to paint my masterpiece of dreams, but once again, I get caught up inside the night's silence, wanting to chase every creature, the moon, and the stars, as the universe. She cheers me on because I'm one of her best racers and chasers
