My Redeemer

There were many times I felt so unimportant.
So many times I tried to forget.
The "World" told me I was no one, worthless.
If I had hopes and dreams,I should forget.
Then that day He came into my life.
He showed me that I was important.
He helped me to forgive and forget.
He forgave me and cleansed me from all of my
sins, As I knelt at an altar and wept.
He told me I would be counted worthy,
Because of the blood He had shed.
He told me to share the love I found there,
At that altar where we met.
The Lord said he would never leave me nor
forsake me.
A promise He has always kept.
Now I know that I'm important, For He
supplies my every need.
The VERY ONE who formed the earth,
Is sharing His life with me.
