Analysis of MY OWN HEAVEN
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
What makes a crusader a crusader
heroes are not born but made
why did you choose to make me
what parts are you planning to use
build a bomb, light the burning fuse
leave me alone
why make your holy war my fight
I want to be able to rest my tired head at night
Your battle continues, and there is no peace in war nor war in peace. Leave me alone. I don't want to wear that type of scar.
Should I be the voice of the voiceless, the balls of the ballless, the thoughts of the free thinkers, the strength of the cowards?
Why make your hell my own when I am just fine right here on this side of the white line with my little piece of the pie that I call my own heaven
